“I’ll attach photos of my two little birds that have been enjoying the Bonka box, and one of my macaws playing with Bonka toys. We plan on starting the Bonka box for them this month too as a supplement to the toys we make (my husband has a drill press, table saw, and lots of untreated 2x4s because… macaws 🤣). But they love the novelty and fun of some Bonka variety too!

Thanks for making color, texture, and fun a part of all these birds lives!”

The grey is “Pebble”. He’s around 30 and a rescue who used to be so protective of his toys he’d sleep with one foot on them. But now he knows there’s always more on the way!

The Eclectus hen is “Tala”. Called a “Red Devil” by her previous owner who kept her in a nearly empty cage she has blossomed into a vibrant affectionate hen with some cognitive stimulation and room to play.

And the last two pictures I’ll send are of “Tupi”. She’s a 25-year-old milicynth hen who came to us with trauma and chronic pain. Lots of toys and love have helped in her recovery and she is now stable and even has a bonded blue and gold buddy to snuggle with!
