1) SCOPE

This Policy explains how Bonka Box (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our site, create an account, purchase products, or enroll in recurring subscriptions. We operate in the United States and ship only to the contiguous 48 states.

2) AFFILIATES AND PROCESSORS

We collaborate with Bonka Bird Toys and Kings Cages to pick, pack, ship, and support orders. Payments are processed by Stripe. Each partner processes data under contracts with us and its own privacy terms.

3) PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. You provide: name, email, phone, shipping and billing addresses, password; order and subscription details (items, frequency, cancellations/skips); messages to support; reviews and photos you upload. We pass payment details to Stripe and do not store full card numbers.

B. Automatically: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, links clicked, timestamps, referring URLs; cookies and similar tech for required site functions and optional analytics/ads if enabled.

C. From service providers: payment status and fraud/risk signals from Stripe; delivery and tracking data from carriers and fulfillment partners; site performance and aggregated analytics.

Children: We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If a child provided information, email [email protected] for removal.

4) HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

• Fulfill orders and subscriptions: process payments, ship, handle returns, provide support.
• Account operations: maintain your account, order history, and self-serve cancellation.
• Communications: send transactional emails/SMS about orders, renewals, and service notices.
• Marketing with consent: send promotional emails or texts if you opt in; you can opt out any time.

Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or your account settings. Transactional emails will continue.

SMS (if enabled): optional; message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. We do not disclose phone numbers collected for SMS to third parties for their marketing.

8) YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Residents of certain U.S. states (e.g., CA, CO, CT, UT, VA) may have rights to access/know, delete, correct, portability, and opt out of sales, targeted advertising, or profiling for significant decisions. You may appeal a denied request.

International visitors: our Services are intended for the U.S. If you access from outside the U.S., your information is processed in the U.S.

9) COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

• Essential: core site functions and checkout.
• Functional/Performance: remember choices, improve reliability.
• Analytics/Measurement: understand site performance.
• Advertising (if enabled): measure or personalize ads.

Order and transaction records: up to 7 years for tax and accounting. Account data: for the life of the account plus a reasonable period. Support tickets: 2–4 years. We delete or de-identify data when no longer needed, subject to legal holds.

13) SECURITY

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Stripe handles card data under PCI DSS. No method is perfectly secure. Keep your credentials confidential and report suspected unauthorized access to [email protected].

14) THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our site may link to third-party sites, including affiliated brand sites. Their privacy practices govern those properties.

15) CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy. If we make material changes, we will post a notice with an effective date at least 14 days in the future and notify account holders where feasible. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
